A deep redesign
(01)
Antidolor Pro is the result of the restyling of the previous Antidolor model, a flagship product of the company Amel Medical.
More than just a simple restyling, it was the actual design of a new device that roots itself in the previous model but significantly distances itself by evolving in many aspects.
Performance and technology
(02)
The new device introduces a major innovation in the field of magnetotherapy: the unidirectional solenoid.
This innovation leads to greatly simplified therapy by the user and improved effectiveness. Our goal, therefore, was to make the use of solenoids and their correct positioning clear and intuitive.
Patented technology

Shape, color, and finishes guide the user to the correct insertion of the strap
Wearability of the device
(03)
The therapy that leaves you free to move
The device is designed for sedentary use, whether it be in a professional or home setting.
However, magnetotherapy sessions can last for several hours. Therefore, we wanted to create a device that is sturdy and stable but can also be worn around the neck or attached to the waist, allowing the user to move freely during the therapy session.
Product design
(04)
The product is designed to be user-friendly and easy to read. The analog interface has been simplified and hierarchically organized to immediately give the user a correct reading and usage order of the object: load, turn on, connect the diffusers.
The style, finishes, and colors are the result of a deliberate choice: to give the end user a perception of reliability. In this context, reliability means not only high professional quality, but also simplicity, ergonomics, and accessibility, key figures for a target audience primarily composed of seniors.
Product interface
(05)
An intuitive and tailored interface
The interface is the second innovation of this medical device: it allows for full customization of the therapy, enables use by multiple individuals , and provides access to various accessories.
Customization and simplicity
The display encompasses many therapy customization functions, but the primary rule remains simplicity. That’s why, to design the user experience, we started with a simple concept: start therapy with just one click!
The home screen of the display allows the user to start the last executed therapy, and it’s possible to access all functionalities with just a few clicks.
Visual identity
(06)
The visual identity stemmed from the concept of freedom: freedom from pain, freedom to customize, freedom to move. These concepts were visually translated considering two aspects: communicative clarity and the sense of reliability that this medical device must convey.
The result is a clean, illustrative communication that becomes warmer and lighter when the focus shifts to the user, transitioning from the medical device to the gestures we all perform daily.
Final considerations
(07)
3 years, 8 companies, 15 professionals:
a long italian journey
Antidolor Pro is a project that, thanks to the vision of Amel Medical, gave us the opportunity to engage and coordinate various Italian specialists from very different sectors, all with one common goal: to design a medical device characterized by high performance, functionality, and style.
