As in the past, today

(01)

Gustificio is a venue, or more precisely, it is a kitchen, a pizzeria, a bakery, and a pastry shop. Andrea Poli wanted to create a place where tradition and research merge, giving birth to a venue that represents a mix of flavors that interact.

Initial challenge

(02)

The challenge was to portray a place with diverse souls: kitchen, pizza, pastry, oven, and at the same time a place that communicated to different targets, both daytime and nighttime. A place where you can feel at home and at the same time cultivate a sense of novelty and wonder.

Being able to convey excellent quality and professionalism while maintaining the authenticity and warmth of tradition. The goal was therefore to translate all of this without ever compromising the strong vision the client had.

The concept

(03)

The oven

The soul of the place lies in the culinary offering, the true driving force that led Andrea Poli to create this new venue. The aim was to blend tradition and innovation, revisiting traditional Italian recipes from breakfast to dinner in a new light.

The entire culinary offering has one common element: the oven. The oven represents the point of union between the warmth of tradition and the professionalism of a laboratory.

The identity: an Italian-style laboratory.

Once the oven, as a central element on which to base the narrative, was defined, a precise identity had to be defined. It had to represent the union between a cozy and familiar place and at the same time a laboratory of quality and research.

All this has been summed up in the concept “Italian-style laboratory” where words like professionalism, industriousness and trust acquire warmth when associated with craftsmanship.

Visual identity

(04)

A sincere place where work, process, research and intent are laid bare. The two souls of the oven, warmth and technique, blend in a spontaneous and authentic setting.

An excellent quality narrated authentically through an essential visual warmed by handmade elements, interpreting the energy and passion breathed at Gustificio.

Structured communication

To design the corporate image, the different moments when the customer comes into contact with the Taste Factory were studied. From this analysis, a multi-level communication, both inside and outside the venue, was defined to always maintain the identity.

From here, we started to structure all the graphic elements that make up the visual identity. The graphic coordination was designed to be flexible and adapt to the various practical needs that a venue has to manage.

A venue of quality

(05)

After defining the identity and its graphic translation, we moved on to the atmosphere that was to be felt, both in the venue and in online communication.

Gustificio’s values are experienced in all environments: from the professionalism and transparency of the laboratory, to the coziness of the eating areas.

Final considerations

(06)

The journey that led us to the identity was created alongside the client. By embracing and guiding his needs, we were able to capture the nuances and different souls he wanted for his venue.

We studied the different target audiences and their respective flows within the venue, and thanks to the collaboration with the architecture studio, we created a place where identity, space, and visual elements interact harmoniously.
